Nicole and Blake | Beach Wedding | Spessard Holland beach, Melbourne, FL

Nicole and Blake were married on August 7th, 2009 at the beach in Melbourne, FL on a typical beautiful Central Florida Friday. They are a fabulous, beautiful, very in love, easy-going couple and I am delighted they had chosen me as their photographer! I met up with Nicole and her wonderful family in the morning at the Crowne Plaza for some getting ready shots while my Assistant Jason met up with Blake for his family  getting ready shots.  We then drove to Spessard Holland Beach for the ceremony.

Win a Free Portrait Session for a great cause!

Sierra is a beautiful little girl whom I had the pleasure of meeting when her family won a free portrait session from me a year or so ago. Sierra has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (known as S.M.A.). She has been accepted been accepted for stem cell treatment at Hangzhou Zhejiang Xiaoshan Hospital in Hangzhou, China which is just outside Shanghai. The stem cell treatment has been scientifically proven to stop the progression of Spinal Muscular Atrophy. We are holding many different events to raise the $50,000.00 that is needed for the treatment and travel expenses to China.

The next fund raising event is on the 18th of this month. There will be a raffle to raise funds and one of the prizes will be a fantastic beach photo shoot by Cathy Heinz!!!

Simply Fabulous Upcoming Event at Cathy Heinz Photography!

Want a beautiful portrait “just because”? Maybe a boudoir style portrait for that someone special? How about a “Fabulous at Forty” portrait? How about a new photo for your Facebook profile?

On Friday August 21st, 2009, from noon till midnight, I will be holding an all day session. Studio lights and backdrop will be set up, you just have to bring yourself!

Cost will be $150 per person. For this you will get a 30-60 minute photo shoot, 5-10 fully edited full resolution images on a CD.

Space is limited, there will only be seven spots available. This shoot will be for singles and couples only – no family portraits – I will hold a family session day at a later date. RSVP at the link below:

I  am honored to have had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful beach wedding on Saturday.  Adam and Amanda are a beautiful young couple about to embark on a “forever” journey.  I had to tell Amanda to stop smiling to get a few serious shots!!! It’s awesome to see such a happy couple enjoying their big day…. oh and the weather was perfect!

Herself and Natalie | Family Portrait | Titusville, FL

I had the pleasure of being on the other side of the camera this week..  to all those who have asked me “What should we wear?” and I have answered “Coordinated but not matching” – I sincerely apologize!!!!  I spent the whole two days before the shoot, trying to decide what to wear.  I think I had 15 different outfits picked out and resorted to what I felt most comfortable in – jeans and a t-shirt!

The photographer of choice was Jason Row (assisted by his beautiful wife Elizabeth), from Pxl8it Productions.   We had a great time and Jason really captured the true spirit of my daughter and I.  What a wonderful experience it was to be on the other side – it was so much fun!!

Thank you Jason and Elizabeth, I will forever treasure these photos…..

Baby Z | 9 Month Old Photo Shoot | Studio

Baby Z is 9 months old!  I’ve been photographing this little guy since before he was born and it’s amazing to see the changes in every session… he is such a cutie!  He was so happy and we got so many great shots that we ended up with approx 250 photos!!!

What a beautiful, classic couple and troopers at that!  This was one HOT day at the beach.  There was so much love in the air that I don’t think the heat bothered them too much!
